Provitalize Review 2024 – Side Effects & Ingredients

Provitalize, according to the packaging, is a thermogenic probiotic weight management system. That means it’s a supplement that makes use of micro-organisms in order to help you lose weight. It isn’t the first weight loss supplement to try this out, but it is one of the less popular approaches you see today.

What Does Provitalize Do?

According to the company, the ingredients in Provitalize offer support for both the gut and your immune system, helps your body’s digestive system, increases your energy, impacts stubborn fat, helps to boost your metabolism, and eases hot flashes.

How it works is fairly straight forward. The probiotics enter your gut, where it mimics the thermogenic effect of exercising by generating heat in said gut. As a result, your body is tricked into thinking it’s exercising, so your metabolism increases. When that happens, it thinks it needs more energy, so it burns up more fat. Therefore, your energy goes up, and fat and weight go down.

Specifically, the supplement is designed to help those who are going through menopause. It highlights insomnia, joint pain, a sudden increase in belly fat, low energy, and hot flashes as menopausal symptoms that it helps to alleviate.

What is in Provitalize?

Provitalize’s formula is a blend of natural spices and probiotics. It contains:

  • Gasseri
  • Breve
  • Lactis
  • Moringa leaf extract
  • Bioperine
  • Turmeric root extract
  • Curry leaf extract
  • Sunflower Lecithin

There have been studies into all of these ingredients by an official health body of some sort, with overall positive findings.

  • Gasseri was found to reduce weight and waist and hip circumference by the Korean Journal of Family Medicine.
  • Breve, according to a study done into microbiota, has the potential to reduce body fat in pre-obese adults.
  • According to another study done into microbiota, B. Lactis has been shown to: improve bowel function, protect you from diarrhea, and reduce the side effects of antibiotic medicines. Furthermore, it helps your respiratory system to resist infection.
  • Turmeric root, despite the lack of official concrete study, is a well-known treatment for joint pain and arthritis.
  • There was a study in plant foods for human nutrition in which moringa leaf extract was found to have potent antioxidant properties that fight against free radicals, help prevent oxidative damage to biomolecules, and provide broader protection against oxidative damage.
  • Curry leaf extract is also a powerful antioxidant according to a study on alternative medicine.

Word on the Street

The easiest way to get a quick insight into the pros and cons of any supplement like this is to have a look at what other users of it are saying. On Amazon, Provitalize has a 53% percent five-star rating, while the rest of the ratings are unusually balanced. One through four, all have a rating between 10% and 14% percent.

A lot of the negative reviews are centered around simply seeing no noticeable difference in weight or any easing of hot flashes. However, most of the reviewers point out that they have had a maximum of one bottle, whereas many other reviewers have pointed out that you need to take two bottles to see any noticeable effect. The supplement is expensive, so that’s not ideal for sure, but others have found it worth the money.

“My fiancée is a holistic doctor, and it works better than anything he’s given me,” one reviewer said, and that seems to be the general sentiment among the positive reviews. It certainly works, especially for weight loss and hot flashes.

Complaints

We’ve touched on the negatives briefly, but let’s dive in a little bit more. After all, it’s important that you understand all of the potential negatives before taking a supplement of any kind.

As we mentioned, the main complaint is simply not seeing anything happen. “After two bottles, it still does not work for me,” one user claimed, although they seemed to be in the minority, as other complaints of that ilk were made after either a few weeks or one bottle.

Others have said “no weight difference, but it has eased hot flashes,” as well as other reviewers claiming it didn’t help them lose weight but did reduce bloating.

The general consensus would seem that it isn’t the best supplement for weight loss but does have other positive effects for menopause provided you have the bankroll to keep buying them.

Provitalize and the BBB

For those who don’t know, the BBB is the Better Business Bureau. It is a database of businesses that is accessible to the public and serves as a monitoring body into the business practices of companies, informing consumers if there is anything underhanded going on.

Provitalize is owned by Better Body Co, which has a BBB profile, although is not accredited by them. It has a B+ official BBB rating, which is passably high and has had three complaints since it started operations in 2018. The company is based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It is worth noting that we came across another negative review on the company’s BBB profile. This one claimed that the return policy that the company offers is not honored. Although this is the only complaint of this kind that we’ve seen, it is worth keeping in the back of your head.

Provitalize Pros and Cons

So, we’ve gone through all the foundational information with regards to Provitalize, so let’s break it down into some easy to digest chunks.

Pros:

  • Effectively reduces bloating
  • Helps to ease hot flashes
  • Natural ingredients
  • Great for those in menopause
  • Increases energy

Cons:

  • Expensive
  • Hit or miss weight loss properties
  • Doesn’t seem to work for some people

Where to Buy Provitalize?

There are a few places online to buy Provitalize for those looking. The main two avenues you have to purchase them are Amazon and Provitalize’s official site. The Amazon listing doesn’t seem to ship internationally. However, the website itself does, so you’re probably better off going there.

It doesn’t seem that Provitalize itself is stocked by any other individual retailers, at least none that we could find, but you can get probiotic supplements in general from pretty much any store that sells natural remedies, such as Holland and Barrett, or from a pharmacy or select protein suppliers.

Refund Policy

Better Body Co claims to be 100% dedicated to delivering positive customer experiences, and the refund policy that it advertises certainly falls in line with that. According to the Provitalize site, you can return your product within 90 days if you find it’s not for you for a full refund.

The company specifically requests that you email directly if you wish to organize a refund, instead of disputing the payment on PayPal, as that prolongs the process by what could be upwards of a month.

It also asks that the goods are in the original packaging and undamaged and that you provide them with the tracking number from the postal service so that one of the company’s agents can monitor the progress of the return. Once the package has been received by the company, you should get a full refund minus the shipping costs related to the product, which includes what you have paid to send the Provitalize back.

This is a great refund policy, although keep in mind the negative review about the honoring of said policy that we talked about earlier.

Should You Try It?

This is the big question with it all, should you try provitalize?

Answering that for any supplement is a difficult task, and it fully depends on your situation. We’d encourage you to make that decision yourself after reading the information we have provided, but for those who want our take, you should try it.

Granted, you should try it to help with menopausal symptoms, not weight loss. Most of the benefits that the company advertises seem to be substantiated. There are plenty of reviews talking about the decreased bloating, ease of heat flashes, and better energy that it has given them, but the weight loss is hit or miss.

Some people claim to have gotten all the benefits except for the weight loss, some claim no benefits at all, although it’s clear that a lot of these reviewers bought the product expecting a primarily weight loss supplement, which isn’t what Provitalize is.

The bottom line is this: If you want Provitalize to ease up your menopausal symptoms, give it a try. Don’t try it if you’re using it for weight loss.
